Birthplace search and location data are derived from the GeoNames geographical database, licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. We have modified the data: place names are normalised for search, and the records are restructured for our database.

GeoNames provides the data "as is" without warranty or any representation of accuracy, timeliness or completeness. Source: download.geonames.org.

Your birth chart is calculated from the coordinates of the place you choose. If a place looks wrong in the list, pick a different one — the chart follows the coordinates, not the name.

Time zones are resolved from coordinates using tz-lookup, licensed under the CC0 1.0 Universal public domain dedication. A place's time zone is its modern one; historical offsets at the moment of birth are applied separately when the chart is drawn.

Printable readings set their astrological glyphs in DejaVu Sans. The DejaVu fonts are based on Bitstream Vera, © 2003 Bitstream, Inc., and are used under the Bitstream Vera licence; DejaVu's own changes are released into the public domain. The font is embedded in the PDF and otherwise unmodified.
